Axcient's GA Release of Local Cache for x360Recover Direct-to-Cloud
x360Recover Direct-to-Cloud now features optional, fully independent Local Cache as a recovery acceleration layer, designed to reduce the time needed for recovering file and folder data or entire protected systems from a cloud vault. In addition to backups directly in the cloud, Local Cache contains block data in an efficiently deduplicated storage database on an affordable, local storage device for fast local file recoveries, bare-metal restores, or local virtualizations.
In the case of hardware failure or outage, using Local Cache in tandem with Direct-to-Cloud gives MSPs the ease and affordability of cloud BDR and the speed of local backup without the need for an expensive local BDR appliance on-site.
What's in it for you?- Economics: Better margins means more recurring revenue. Direct-to-Cloud with Local Cache costs 50% less than competitors appliance-based backup
- Ditch the expensive on-prem appliance and consolidate your clients to Direct-to-Cloud with Local Cache and see the same speed of recovery, security, and better data integrity for half the cost.
- Protect business-critical systems and quickly restore data from any physical or virtual Windows server, desktop, or laptop
- Quickly restore lost or missing files without waiting for download from the cloud
- Business Continuity: Limit downtime and simplify failback with accelerated bare-metal restores directly from the local cache
- Fully virtualize systems for testing or live disaster recovery in the Axcient cloud, in a private cloud, or directly on the local cache device
