Breaking news: Axcient X360

We've launched Axcient X360!

Our new converged backup platform delivers single sign-on for MSP management of CloudFinder, Anchor, and Replibit.

X-360 includes unlimited storage and retention, with simplified pricing and SKUs.

And that single sign-on gets you into all of the services you'll need: billing, support, training and certification, co-branded collateral, campaigns and MDF.

One experience. Protect everything.

Protection against ransomware

The other breaking news is the availability of AutoVerify for Replibit and BRC.

AutoVerify validates the recoverability of backup snapshots, so you can detect bad windows updates, malware affecting boots, and incomplete or corrupt backups.

Failover cluster services

With the release of Agent 2.24+ and Appliance 8.4.0+, Replibit now provides support for failover clusters, and Cluster Shared Volume (CSV)-aware backups.

We've published a new Guide with all the details:

Meet our Support Team

This month, meet Loreto Cano, Sr. Customer Satisfaction Engineer [BRC]

Before Axcient, your most interesting job was...
I was the internal network manager for All Covered (when it was one location and about 40 people.)

What music is on your playlist?
Bob Seger, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Bonamassa

What is your secret talent no one knows about?
I used to play trumpet in a Mexican brass band, playing mostly norteño music.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Bowl, read, eat, drink. (Not necessarily in that order.)

When third-party systems unexpectedly go down:

If your clients rely on third-party systems to handle daily transactions, their entire environment can collapse if vital pieces of those systems suffer downtime.

Read a case study describing how BRC was used to ensure business continuity - for weeks, with minimal downtime - after a critical third-party system failed:

Axcient BRC keeps Alamo Drafthouse running after their ticketing server goes down:

Using activity alerts

Activity alerts can help (painlessly) prevent organizations from unexpectedly exceeding their storage quota limits. You can also proactively monitor the state of a file server that is syncing to the cloud.

Do you know how to tweak activity alerts to stay informed of important system events? Check out this video on setting Alerts:
